Ancient Bronze Dice (Lg)

Oversized dice, cast in solid ancient bronze. These are not plated; each die is solid bronze throughout.

A "standard" sized 20-sided die measures approximately 22mm from one corner to the opposite corner. These dice are over 33% larger!

The numbers are simply oxidized (tarnished) bronze. This produces a nice, high contrast for easy reading, while not introducing any foreign substance to the dice, so that they are 100% bronze.

The exact weights and sizes will vary between dice. The expected measurements are as follows:

D4: 24mm
D6: 18.65mm
D8: 30.63mm
D10: 29.30mm
D12: 22.64mm
D20: 29.30mm

All measurements are taken at the most extreme points of each die. For a D4, it is the distance from a flat face to the opposite corner. For a D6, it is the distance from one flat face to the opposite face. For all other dice, it is the distance from one corner to an opposite corner. Please note that there may be some slight variance in size (less than 1mm) from run to run.

"Bronze" is a broad and sometimes misleading term. To be clear, these dice are composed of 90% copper and 10% tin, matching the classical description of bronze going back thousands of years. It is zinc-free and delivers a deep ancient bronze color with rich red undertones. It fits into the CDA#90700 category.

The complete set of 7 dice includes a hand made full-grain leather pouch to carry them in. The pouch is hand stitched with waxed polyester thread, and is secured with leather lace.
